Space Open in Some Classes!
Location and Timeframe:
Holy Family Scholars classes meet in the new Education Center at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church - 4921 Columbia Rd, Grovetown, GA 30813.
Fall classes begin August 11, 2026 and meet on Tuesdays from 11 am to 2 pm. A co-op day will consist of a co-op wide "homeroom", class session, break for lunch/recess, and cleanup and regroup before dismissal. Nursery may follow a slightly different schedule as needed.
Parent Requirements: Holy Family Scholars is a parent-led program and there is not a drop-off option - parents must remain on-site for the duration of the co-op day. Parents are expected to serve as volunteer teachers, helpers, coordinators, and substitutes as requested by the HFS Leadership Team. As a cooperative, families share responsibility for all students, and parents may be asked to serve in roles or classrooms outside of their own child’s age group to fulfill the needs of the co-op and help it run smoothly. Some parents will be asked to serve in helping rather than lead teaching roles, although all parents must be willing to teach. Parents may identify areas in which they would like to serve at the time of application. All parents are required to teach - either in one of our lower grade classes (Nursery-2nd) or be in a rotation of parent-teachers, teaching a topic of their choice for a minimum of three consecutive weeks for enrichment classes for 3rd Grade - High School. See HFS Guidelines for more detailed information regarding parent requirements and easy-to-implement class topic ideas.
Our current class groups:

Field Trips and Extra-Cooperative Activities:
We are excited to incorporate field trips and liturgical living activities into the co-op as an enriching extension of the learning experience. Through these experiences, students will make real-world connections to their studies and grow together in their Catholic faith.
